Two days ago we got a call from 2 friends whom i shot their restaurant in Fouad Street in Alexandria "Brew and Chew" requiring me for some food photography for their new Asian food restaurant "TAO".
TAO lies in a nice place in "Kafr Abdo" - Alexandria offering spacious area where you can hear music, enjoy a good load of sushi delices or if you're not much into asian food you can enjoy the new branch of brew and chew right next to TAO.
So they very next day i packed my equipment and headed to the place for the first time checking it out for where i am going to setup my lights.
30 minutes later we were good to go when we were tackled by a power outage that held us back for about 2 hours and that wasn't the only one, we were tackled again 3 hours later.
Chefs started preparing and bringing me the food served and presented beautifully (p.s. luckily the executive was a former chef used to work in Fourseasons Nile Plaza) so he cared a lot about presentation, but of course we had to modify little things for each item to be shot.
Then we started shooting and it took us nearly 9 hours to finish 3 am in the morning.
It was rather an exhausting day but i enjoyed it seeing some old friends and sharing laughs while working.
Following some of the finished photos for yesterday's shoot, hope you all like it:
